She looked up as a dog might.True Lei was on all fours but somehow she seemed almost eye level in that form.After walking for a bit she smiled." Home." she said it with mixed feelings.As Lei had said before she had no home.Could she have been speeking of someone elses ? After much walking and turning round they came to the part of the forest which had such dense leaves above that no rain penitrated it.At this point she took the opportunity to shake out her fur.Which made her look like a huge fluff ball for a couple of seconds.

Musashi shook himselfv as well and straightened the bangs in front of his face before wringing water from his clothes. He sighed and looked around. "Nice place." He commented smiling at her and the environment. He took in the smell of the grass, the trees, mixed in with the scent of rain. It was truley good to be back in the forest.

Lei nodded.The trees were quite large here and she seemed to be sniffing at each one.Finally she stopped and started digging.It took only a few seconds for a large chunk of earth to cave in.She wriggled through the hold and up the tree.IT was hollow and the size of a small house most of the way through with a sortov ladder of steps carved in.At the top it suddenly stopp with a trap door hanging open.Lei scrambled up this and her tail disapeared through the door.

Musashi watched her go in. He sighed and shook his head. There was no way he could fit in there. He looked around and spotted a patch of grass that looked softer than the rest and it was right beside the tree. He walked over and sat down crosslegged, taking off his katana and placing it besde him. He would stand guard through the night, not like he ever slept anyway.
